Welcome to GS Yuasa Lithium Power. In 2006, GS Yuasa Corporation formed GS Yuasa Lithium Power (GYLP) in the United States to bring GS Yuasa’s exceptional lithium ion products to the North American market.

With a rich heritage of developing batteries used to power satellite systems and the first lithium ion battery approved for use on a commercial airliner, GS Yuasa has established itself as a premier manufacturer of lithium ion batteries. Our products are designed to meet the most stringent requirements for safety and reliability and have demonstrated superior performance in the most demanding environments.

GYLP’s mission is to create solutions for North American clients within the Aerospace, Military, and Specialty industries. As a complete lithium ion battery solutions provider, GS Yuasa Lithium Power can provide everything from cells to complete battery systems. Our portfolio includes Lithium Ion cells in multiple chemistries optimized for energy and/or power, with capacities ranging from 4Ah to 400Ah.

Today, GYLP is located in Roswell, Georgia. We currently have a dedicated engineering staff with over 60 years of product development experience in the battery and aerospace fields, and we are still growing.

We have expertise in lithium ion cells, electronics, and mechanical engineering and have developed advanced prototyping and test capability for both individual cells and battery systems. GYLP’s system expertise is reinforced by GS Yuasa’s extensive knowledge and experience gained from over a century of battery research and development, manufacturing and commercial success.
